Yoga for climate change deniers No. 1: The Ostrich

Still a climate change denier?Earth

Eight of the hottest years on record have occurred since 2001 - but if you still don't believe in climate change, why not see if some of the links below help convince you.

FACT: Newspapers all have a strong editorial bias (from the Daily Mail to the Guardian), and much 'news' is selectively reported.

FACT: Bizarre notions of 'balance' persuade broadcasting editors to present both sides of a scientific argument equally, even when one side is supported by only a tiny minority of scientists - this can mislead people into believing there is genuine debate on a subject, even when there isn't.

FACT: You're unlikely to hear the truth from scientists with a vested interest, for example those funded by the oil industry!

Bullet point For a glimpse of the truth behind tabloid headlines see: Tabloid Watch

INDEPENDENT SOURCES:

The Met Office is about as independent as you can get. Their information is written in plain English by people who know what they're talking about - not by journalists!
